SS: Cucumber

Cucumbers are my first veggie love. I've even been known to walk around eating a whole one as a snack ;) And since I'm drinking a ton of them in juices these days, it was a natural must to do a SS on them this week!
SS FUN FACTS:
Made of 90% water, so helps keep you hydrated!
Aids the liver in getting rid of impurities, and great for detox.
Increases blood alkalinity.
Has numerous vitamins and minerals including: A, B, C, K, potassium, and magnesium!
Has both ascorbic acid and caffeic acid in it, which strengthen ligaments, cartilage, tendons, and bones.
High in silica, which helps connective tissue. AKA gives you the skin glows!
Contains the enzyme “erepsin”, which improves digestion and helps the body absorb protein.
